2.4 Detector Hits

This tab displays the X-Y hit locations from the input file for each detector. The number of events displayed can be selected from the slider at the bottom of the screen. These events are randomly sampled up to a maximum value of 10,000. This upper limit was chosen to reduce processing times.

In the setting tab you can change the colour of the points and the outline of the front detector in case you are using SmartPET insead of GRI+. The standard set-up displays regions of more counts as larger and more opaque. This plotting style can also be altered on the settings tab where the opacity and alternative sizing of points can be disabled.

If the data was loaded incorrectly due to a mix up in the coordinate system, this can be fixed without returning to MTsort by playing with the “Flip” and “Switch” buttons.
